Chandan Arora, a multifaceted filmmaker with a rich experience in various aspects of the industry, began his journey as an Assistant Director in 1989 and as an Assistant Cameraman in 1991, training under seasoned professionals in different departments of filmmaking.
Following his stint with the Star TV Network as Associate Producer for India and the Middle East, Arora ventured into film editing, making his debut with Ram Gopal Varma's Mast in 1999. He has since edited numerous films, including Kedarnath, Padman, Ki & Ka, Qarib Qarib Single, Jungle, Company, Cheeni Kum, Krrish 3, and the critically acclaimed Fandry, which garnered multiple awards.
Marking his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon in 2003, Arora went on to direct two more films: Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh, starring Rajpal Yadav and Rituparna Sengupta, and Striker, a gripping drama based on a real-life carom champion, starring Siddharth.
Throughout his career, Arora has also made a significant impact in the world of advertising, working with prominent brands such as Food Panda, Livon, Bajaj Platina, Surf Excel, Maruti SX4, IDEA, Ginger Hotels, Hero Honda, Lifebuoy, and Whisper.
With a background in technical filmmaking and a passion for storytelling, Arora has honed his creative skills through editing, directing, and producing various types of content, including feature films, documentaries, and short films.
