Charla Kaye Bocchicchio's life has been a thrilling journey of artistic expression, marked by a passion for make-believe and performance from a young age. Born in Belleville, Illinois, to Robert and Frances Hale, she was the youngest of five siblings, and her early years were filled with the excitement of theatre and the arts.
As she grew older, Charla's interest in acting only intensified, and she went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Utah. Her love of acting continued to flourish, and she eventually made the move to Los Angeles in 2012, where she immersed herself in the world of camera acting.
Under the guidance of renowned acting coaches such as Anthony Meindl, Charla's skills and confidence grew, and she began to make a name for herself in the industry. She was also fortunate to have Judy Kain, a mentor and dear friend, enter her life, and through Judy's guidance, Charla became the lead youth teacher at the award-winning Keep It Real Acting School in North Hollywood.
It was during her time in Southern California that Charla met her husband, John Bocchicchio, in an Improv class at UCB. The couple eventually returned to Salt Lake City, where Charla has continued to thrive, building a successful career as an actress in commercials, TV, film, and voice-over work.
Charla is no stranger to the indie film scene, and she loves to collaborate on projects that resonate with her on a deep level. Her passion for improvisation has led to some of her most memorable roles, including several viral internet ads. In addition to her acting work, Charla is also a highly sought-after acting coach in Salt Lake City, sharing her expertise and knowledge with aspiring actors.
