Biography

Charles Lister, also referred to as C.R. Lister, originates from the charming town of Danville, Kentucky. His academic journey commenced at Boyle County High School, where he earned his diploma in 1987. Subsequently, he pursued his passion for art at Eastern Kentucky University, a prestigious institution that played a significant role in shaping his artistic skills. During his time at the university, Lister's exceptional talent for caricatures garnered widespread attention, as his humorous and accurately depicted portraits of various student archetypes were frequently published in the university newspaper. After completing his studies in 1991, Lister reunited with an old high school friend, Kevin VanHook, to collaborate on a project titled "A Killing Frost".
