Biography

Charles Stewart Alexander Miller, affectionately known to his friends as Charlie, was born in 1983 to Amanda and Philip Miller. At a remarkably young age of five, he made history by becoming the youngest person to ever hold a speaking role with the Royal Shakespeare Company. This impressive feat was accomplished when he played the role of a page boy alongside Simon Russell Beale in the production of "A Man of Mode". Charlie's professionalism shone through during this performance, as he remained in character despite experiencing a nose bleed and a wig hair in his eye.

As he grew older, Charlie continued to pursue his passion for acting, taking on his last professional stage role as Macduff's son in Macbeth at the National Theatre in 1993. He also remained active in the amateur dramatics scene, performing with local groups and even participating in the student revue at St George's Medical School. During his time at the medical school, Charlie not only honed his acting skills but also experimented with writing, directing, and producing.

Charlie's love for live comedy developed when the St George's Medics Revue began performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2003, he earned his first directing credit alongside his close friend Kate Holyhead for their show "Sex, Lies and Surgical Tape". Although Charlie now works as a Biomedical Scientist, he still finds time to perform whenever possible, showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication to the craft.
