At the tender age of eleven, Charlotte Chatton's exceptional talent earned her a prestigious scholarship to attend the ItaliaConti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, where she would go on to receive top honors in the drama department after seven years of intensive training.
During her time at the academy, Charlotte began to make a name for herself in the industry, starring in numerous commercials, music videos, network TV shows, and films. Her impressive resume would eventually land her the coveted leading role in Working Title Films' award-winning feature "Dakota Road," which premiered at the London Film Festival and received widespread critical acclaim, with The London Evening Standard praising her performance as "a performance of tremendous promise" and Variety hailing the film as "an artistic winner."
This breakout role, along with her appearances in award-winning British series such as "Inspector Morse," would ultimately lead Charlotte to relocate to Los Angeles, where she would continue to make a lasting impact in the industry. Noted directors James Cameron, Danny Boyle, and James Keach would all single out Charlotte's exceptional talent, leading to her starring roles in several award-winning productions alongside esteemed actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Kathy Bates, Martin Short, Phil Hartman, Jan Hooks, Alan Howard, Joan Fontaine, and Leo McKern.
In recent years, Charlotte has shifted her focus behind the camera, serving as an Executive Producer on the award-winning documentary "California Typewriter," which features interviews with Tom Hanks and Sam Shepard. Premiering at the Telluride Film Festival in 2016, the documentary received widespread critical acclaim, earning three Critics' Choice Award nominations and boasting a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
Charlotte is also the Co-Producer/Writer on the festival-winning documentary "Women of the White Buffalo," for which her production company, Westmount Pictures, also served as the production company. Westmount Pictures currently has several boundary-pushing projects in development.
