Charlotte Kavanagh's connection to the performing arts began at a young age, training in various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, and tap in her hometown of White Rock, BC.
As a teenager, she transitioned into professional modeling, leveraging her Scandinavian heritage and unique look to secure opportunities across North America and Asia, which helped cultivate the work ethic necessary to thrive in the entertainment industry.
After completing her education, Charlotte focused on becoming a professional dancer, training in Harbour Dance Centre's pre-professional Intensive Training Program. She was soon scouted by a talent agency, marking the beginning of her career.
As a professional dancer, Charlotte worked on various projects, including Disney's Descendants 2, NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, and multiple musical episodes of Riverdale on The CW, collaborating with renowned choreographers like Tony Testa, Mandy Moore, and Heather Laura Gray. She also performed in The Smoke Show, a dance cabaret directed by Jen Oleksiuk.
Charlotte's first acting class sparked a strong connection, reminiscent of her early days in dance. She began training with esteemed coaches in Vancouver, including Deb Podowski, Jeb Beach, and Nelson Wong, while also developing her singing talents through private coaching and social media videos.
As an actress, Charlotte has achieved significant success in the commercial industry, appearing in international advertisements for brands like Porsche, Hyundai, SweeTARTS, Jarred Jewelry, and Gillette. She made her television acting debut on ABC's Once Upon A Time, followed by guest spots on DC's Legends of Tomorrow on The CW, The Twilight Zone on CBS All Access, and the feature film The Right One, directed by Ken Mok.
Charlotte's upcoming projects include a Recurring Guest Star role in a highly anticipated musical series for Paramount+, set to premiere in 2022.
