Chasen's professional career embarked upon a significant milestone at the tender age of sixteen, marking the inception of his television journey as he secured the pivotal role of Joe Hampton on the popular teen drama series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Throughout the show's duration, Chasen went on to reprise his role as Joe Hampton for a total of twelve episodes, further solidifying his presence within the entertainment industry.
At the tender age of eighteen, Chasen made the bold decision to take his passion for the performing arts to the next level by submitting applications to a multitude of esteemed British drama schools. His list of desired institutions was impressive, boasting the likes of RADA, Guildford, Royal Scottish Academy, and the illustrious LAMDA.
