Chayanne

Elmer Figueroa de Arce, professionally known as Chayanne, was born in Puerto Rico, where he emerged as the third of five siblings. He is currently married to Venezuelan beauty, Mariana Elizabeth "Marilisa" Maronesa de Figueroa, with whom he has shared the joys of parenthood, welcoming a son, Lorenzo Valentino, and a daughter, Isadora Sofia. This talented individual took his first steps as a singer at the tender age of ten, joining a group akin to Menudo, aptly named "Los Chicos." Throughout his illustrious career, Chayanne has released an impressive 14 albums and CDs, consisting of five collaborations with "Los Chicos" and nine solo projects, all of which have been rendered in Spanish. In addition to his singing endeavors, Chayanne has also made a name for himself in the realm of television, starring in the popular soap opera "Pobre Juventud," as well as the leading roles in "Tormento," "Sombras del Pasado," "Provocame," and "Gabriel." Furthermore, he has appeared in various films, including the notable "Linda Sara" alongside the stunning Dayanara Torres, a former Miss Universe. Chayanne's first English-language acting job was in the film "Dance With Me," where his undeniable charm and mastery of dance allowed him to shine. He has also made guest appearances in several episodes of the hit television series "Ally McBeal."
