Chester Charles Bennington, a renowned musician, came into this world in Phoenix, Arizona, to a mother, Susan Elaine (Johnson),who was a dedicated nurse, and a father, Lee Russell Bennington, a diligent police detective. When Bennington was just 11 years old, his parents made the difficult decision to divorce, leaving him to navigate the complexities of childhood without the presence of both his mother and father. Despite this challenging start, Bennington was blessed with two half-sisters and a half-brother, who would later become an integral part of his life.
Bennington's educational journey began at Centennial High School, where he started his freshman year. However, he soon transferred to Greenway High School, where he discovered his passion for music and formed his first band, Grey Daze. This early venture into the world of music would lay the foundation for his future success. After completing his high school education, Bennington graduated from Washington High School in 1994, marking the beginning of a remarkable career that would take him to the heights of stardom.
