Chris Hill, a British writer of remarkable talent, hails from a rich academic background. He holds a prestigious Master's degree in Screenwriting from the renowned National Film and Television School (NFTS),where he honed his craft alongside like-minded individuals. Prior to his time at the NFTS, Chris earned a degree in Mathematics from Warwick University, demonstrating his versatility and aptitude for a wide range of subjects.
Chris's professional journey began while he was still a student at the NFTS, when he was approached by esteemed producer Chris Curling to re-write the World War II biopic drama, White Rose. This early commission marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration, and Chris's exceptional writing skills did not go unnoticed.
Upon completing his Master's degree, Chris was selected as one of only four writers to participate in the EON Screenwriters' Workshop, a prestigious program designed to nurture and develop emerging talent. His impressive portfolio continued to grow, as he became an integral part of the writing team for the popular television series Skins.
Chris's versatility as a writer has also been showcased through his work as a script consultant for director Michael Hoffman on the film The Last Station, as well as his original screenplay, Butterfly Kick, which was produced by Himesh Kar and directed by Phil Cox.
