Born in the charming town of Averill Park, New York, Chris attended Johnson State College in Vermont, where he played basketball and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. He took his unique basketball skills to professional organizations such as And 1 Streetball, the Harlem Ambassadors, and the New York Red Riders of the American Basketball Association, where he was an All-Star. His basketball talents were also showcased in the Finish Line "Shoes So Fresh" national commercial campaign, featuring the late rap icon Mac Miller.
