Born in Hollywood, California, Chris's early life was shaped by his actress/poet mother and screenwriter father. At the age of 16, Chris left school through a work experience program to pursue a career in acting. He started with small indie movie roles and briefly worked on David Lynch's quirky television series Twin Peaks.
