Chris Regina is a prominent American television executive and producer who has had a distinguished career in the industry.
He began his journey as a Program Director at WGTW TV48 in Philadelphia, before making the move to New York City, where he worked at NBCU.
During his tenure at NBCU, Chris was responsible for overseeing original series and films, strategy, scheduling, and acquisitions, as well as a VOD day/date theatrical division at the Syfy Channel and Chiller.
At Syfy, Chris produced an impressive number of films, including the popular Sharknado franchise, and engineered original co-productions such as Van Helsing, Wynonna Earp, Dark Matter, and Z Nation.
Chris then moved on to become an original scripted development executive at Netflix, where he spent nearly five years overseeing strategy and production, and built a genre-focused studio, GnT Inc., which yielded shows such as Resident Evil, Black Summer, Keep Breathing, and Warrior Nun.
In February 2023, Chris joined TCL North America as their Chief Content Officer, where he is focused on building their AIGC initiative, IDEO interactive, strategy, acquisitions, and original development for TCLtv+ FAST/AVOD streaming service.
