Chris Weil is a renowned German filmmaker, currently residing and working in Italy. With a strong educational background, he graduated in 2011 from the prestigious ARD.ZDF Media Academy, a renowned institution in collaboration with the Bayerischer Rundfunk and the IHK. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career in the film industry.
After completing his studies, Weil started his professional journey by taking up video editing for television broadcasting. His exceptional skills and dedication quickly earned him recognition, setting the stage for his future endeavors.
In August 2015, Weil made the bold move to Italy, where he co-founded the creative directors collective ARTOLDO with the talented Sara Ferro. This partnership has been instrumental in producing a wide range of innovative and critically acclaimed films, including award-winning feature documentaries, arthouse movies, and experimental films.
