Christene Browne, a talented individual hailing from the picturesque island of St. Kitts, has been dedicating her career to the craft of filmmaking for over a decade, operating as an independent producer and director. Her impressive repertoire boasts an award-winning film, "Them That's Not", which proudly holds the distinction of being the fourth installment in the National Film Board of Canada's prestigious Feminization of Poverty series.
Prior to this notable achievement, Browne brought her creative vision to the forefront as producer and director of "Jodie Drake: Blues in My Bread", a captivating production for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Adrienne Clarkson Presents show. Her notable body of work also includes the powerful films "No Choice" and the highly acclaimed "Brothers in Music".
Browne's latest endeavor, "Another Planet", marks a significant milestone in her career, as it serves as her debut as a feature filmmaker.
