Christian Meoli is a multifaceted American artist, boasting a triple threat talent as an actor, writer, and producer. His impressive career trajectory began in his teenage years, when he started performing in regional theatre productions. With a strong foundation in acting from the Performing Arts School and Stagedoor Manor, Meoli went on to appear in numerous plays along the East Coast.
His academic pursuits took him to Temple University, where he studied film directing on scholarship. Meoli's big break came in 1992 when he was cast as Federico Aranda in the Frank Marshall-directed film Alive. He continued to hone his craft, appearing in films such as The Low Life and Persons Unknown, alongside notable actors like Rory Cochrane, Kyra Sedgwick, and Naomi Watts.
Beyond his acting career, Meoli has produced over 100 projects, including film, television, live events, and radio programs for the Pacifica Radio Network. In 2009, he wrote the book and lyrics, acted, produced, and directed the underground theatre hit "Octomom the Musical", which garnered international attention for its bold and humorous parody.
Meoli's commercial career has also been extensive, with appearances in advertisements for major brands like Fruit of the Loom, FEMA, Volkswagen, Olympus Camera, Microsoft, Time Warner, and Coors Light, among others.
In 2010, Meoli founded Arena Cinema in the heart of Hollywood, showcasing thousands of new independent films at the former Egyptian 2&3 location. Four years later, he built a new 50-seat state-of-the-art theater at the industry-centric 6464 Sunset Blvd. building, rebranding it as Cinelounge. Cinelounge has since been awarded Academy Qualifying status by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, qualifying thousands of new and feature-length films.
In his personal life, Meoli married actress, director, and producer Camilla Meoli in 2022, and they have a daughter named Minerva Meoli.
