Christian Simpson was born in London to British parents, and made the bold decision to relocate to Hollywood in 2009, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his life. He has had the privilege of appearing in four out of the top five movie sagas of all time, including the iconic Star Wars franchise.
Prior to his successful career in front of and behind the camera, Simpson started out as an award-winning Composer and Pianist, collaborating with gold-selling artists and leaving his mark on the music industry. He is also a successful British Inventor and Property Investor, showcasing his impressive range of skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
Simpson's first major role as an Actor was his notable feature as Lt. Gavyn Sykes in the number one PG movie of all time, Star Wars: Episode I (1999),with his likeness being immortalized in the Star Wars video games Galaxies (-2011) and Battle For Naboo (2001),a title where his character took the lead role.
He has made recurring appearances in several British television soap operas, including Family Affairs (2005) as Sergeant Wilson, and Judge John Deed (2007) as George Channing Jr. He has also had parts in popular shows such as Casualty (2014) as Martin Turner, True Blood (2012),and more.
In 2015, Simpson earned an "Additional Voices" credit on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and completed filming as British fighter pilot survivor Sgt. Fletcher Smith on Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).
Behind the camera, Simpson has worked on several film series, including The Mummy (2008) as Brendan Fraser's Double, Star Wars (2005) as Anakin Skywalker's Stand-in/Double, The Dark Knight Trilogy (2012),and Harry Potter (2011) as the Old Fred Weasley, a character who ironically died young.
In 2015, Simpson began development for the TV adaptation of his novel The Chrononaut (2008) with the executive producer of Superman Returns, and came full circle, becoming a writer for the official Star Wars franchise.
