Christina Chong is a talented international television and film actress who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Born to a Chinese father who immigrated to the UK from Hong Kong and an English mother, Christina's life has been marked by a strong work ethic and a passion for the arts.
Growing up, Christina was exposed to the performing arts from a young age, starting with dance at just three years old. She attended Italia Conti, the UK equivalent of Juilliard, where she honed her musical theater and acting skills. Her big break came when she starred as Anita in West Side Story in her graduation show, and she soon moved to Germany to star in the European premiere of Aida, written by Elton John and Tim Rice.
Christina's career has seen no bounds, with appearances in hit TV shows such as Netflix's Black Mirror, BBC America's Doctor Who, Fox's 24: Live Another Day, and ITV's Grace. She has also starred in blockbuster films like Universal Pictures' Johnny English Reborn, Warner Bros.' Tom & Jerry: The Movie, and award-winning independent features like W.E. with Oscar Isaac.
In addition to her acting career, Christina has always had a lifelong passion for music. Her debut EP, Twin Flames, is set to be released in August 2023 and features four original songs that take listeners on a journey of passion, pain, healing, and self-love during and after a "twin flame" relationship.
Christina's personal journey has been marked by a focus on equality and diversity in the Star Trek franchise, which stems from her own experiences as a woman of color in Hollywood. She credits her mother, who raised her and her five siblings on welfare, with instilling in her the importance of hard work and perseverance.
Throughout her career, Christina has worked with a range of talented artists and producers, including Jake Gosling, NUUXS, and Matt Brettle. She has also spent the last decade and a half working with life coach Michael James, and hopes to share her story of overcoming adversity and finding success with the world.
