Christine was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent her early years in northeast Ohio, frequently returning to the east coast for holidays and summers, where she fondly recalls entertaining her neighbors on the stoop in Brooklyn, singing and dancing for an audience of women who would lean out of windows to watch.
This nostalgic period in her life was marked by a strong sense of community and a love for performance, which would later influence her career choices.
In 2017, Christine made a life-changing discovery, uncovering her lower east side Italian heritage and the numerous relatives that come with it, a revelation that would have a profound impact on her sense of identity and connection to her roots.
After two decades of building a successful career in theatre and education in Cleveland, Christine finally returned to her hometown of New York City in 2021, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
As a younger woman, Christine studied comparative literature and writing at Columbia University's School of General Studies while working at ABC Radio Network News, before embarking on a solo backpacking adventure across Europe.
This experience inspired her to pursue her long-held dream of studying acting, which she did at Kent State University, earning her MFA.
Christine is also a published author and a U.S. Presidential Scholar Teacher, who has received grants to study Shakespeare at The Globe Theatre in London, The Juilliard School, and The National Institute on Teaching Shakespeare.
She is an award-winning theatre director and former artistic director, having worked with Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, Directors Lab West, DirectorsLab North, and Cleveland Play House Directors Gym.
Christine has continued her acting training with Shakespeare & Company, Dream Lab Studio, James Ciccone, and Anthony Grasso, and has taught at The Film and Media Arts School at Cleveland State University and Baldwin Wallace University Department of Theatre & Dance.
She is an acting coach in private practice and has completed one screenplay, is writing a second, and is developing a solo show about discovering her Italian heritage.
Christine splits her time between Cleveland and New York City, and is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and SDC (the Society of Stage Directors & Choreographers).
