Christinna Chauncey is a multifaceted actress and esteemed acting coach based in Los Angeles, boasting a career spanning over three decades.
Her journey in television began in 1992, when she landed a significant guest starring role on the highly acclaimed series In the Heat of the Night, directed by the late Larry Hagman.
Following Hagman's encouragement, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue further opportunities and immersed herself in intense study under the guidance of renowned acting teacher Larry Moss.
Chauncey's subsequent appearances on notable shows such as Star Trek: Voyager and The Pretender preceded a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes in casting, alongside CD Greg Orson, on the WB pilot Loose Cannon, starring Nick Cannon, produced by Will Smith and James Lassiter.
Enthralled by the job, she continued to collaborate with Orson as his associate on the hit show Reba, starring Reba McEntire, as well as the Kevin Williamson series Glory Days, helping to cast numerous network shows and pilots through 2002.
During her time in casting, Chauncey gained profound insight into the audition process and soon began assisting fellow actors in preparing for auditions, which ultimately led to the establishment of her studio in 2003, specializing in audition technique for film and television.
