Christopher Alan Broadstone is a multifaceted creative force, born in Oklahoma City and raised in Dallas, Texas. He spent 21 years pursuing his artistic vision in Los Angeles before returning to Dallas in 2016.
As a filmmaker, Broadstone has written and directed three award-winning short films, including "Scream For Me", "My Skin!", and "Human No More". His films have garnered numerous accolades, including 15 "Best Of" awards, and have been showcased on several horror compilation DVDs. He has also completed two feature-length screenplays, "Color Of Flame" and "R", with the latter earning a Best Horror Feature Screenplay award at the Shriekfest Film Festival.
In addition to his work in film, Broadstone is an accomplished author. His horror novel, "Puzzleman", has been re-released and is available in Kindle and Trade Paperback formats. He has also published a novella, "A Catch In Time", and his short story, "Note-To-Self", is featured in the anthology "Journals Of Horror: Found Fiction". Broadstone's collection of short stories, screenplays, and lyrics/poetry, "Suicide The Hard Way: And Other Tales From The Innerzone", is an in-depth look at his creative output.
As a musician, Broadstone has toured and recorded with his bands "About 9 Times" and "The Judas Engine" during the late 1980s and 1990s.
Broadstone's latest feature film, "Human No More", seamlessly integrates his previous short films into a larger narrative and is available on Blu-ray and streaming from Amazon and Texas POEtrope. He is currently preparing to produce the sequel (prequel) to "Human No More", titled "HNM: Look At The Sky", which will continue the dark tale of Detective Nemo and the serial killer Mr. Blight.
In addition, Broadstone is completing his second horror novel, "Heather's Treehouse".
