Chucho E. Quintero, a talented filmmaker, was born in the picturesque town of Río Blanco, Veracruz, Mexico in the year 1989. Throughout his early years, he had the privilege of studying under the guidance of renowned mentors such as Paula Markovitch, Ignacio Ortiz, Jaime Humberto Hermosillo, and Jorge Ayala Blanco, who undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping his artistic vision.
In the year 2011, Quintero's remarkable short film, "Félix et le poisson", earned him the prestigious IMJUVE Award for Best Director Under 30, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication to his craft.
Fast forward to 2015, Quintero's second feature-length film, "Velociraptor", made a significant impact at the 17th Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, where it won the coveted Jury Prize for Best Feature. Furthermore, this film has been distributed by TLA Releasing in North America and Europe, further solidifying Quintero's reputation as a prominent filmmaker.
Currently, Quintero is working on his third feature, "These Peculiar Days" (previously known as "Cabin, or these peculiar days"),which is in the midst of post-production. This highly anticipated film is sure to showcase Quintero's unique storytelling abilities and artistic flair.
