Chuck Margiotta embarked on a storied career with the Fire Department of New York in 1981, commencing a 15-year tenure with Ladder Company 40, a prominent unit based in Harlem. Throughout his time with the company, Margiotta distinguished himself as a dedicated and skilled firefighter, ultimately earning the esteemed rank of Lieutenant in 1996.
As his career continued to flourish, Margiotta was reassigned to the 22nd Battalion, a respected unit stationed in Staten Island, where he was serving at the time of his tragic passing in the devastating collapse of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
