Cynthia Kristina Kurleto, born on April 21, 1979, is a multifaceted individual with a background in modeling, acting, and hosting. As a former MTV VJ in the Philippines, she has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry.
Kurleto's parents, Faustina Verdillo and Friedrich Kurleto, divorced when she was young, and she was raised by her mother in Austria. She completed her education, taking a Hotel and Restaurant Management course, and later worked as a waitress.
However, in 2001, Kurleto made the bold decision to leave her job, sell her car and apartment, and move to the Philippines, where she had previously lived. She settled in Legazpi City, Albay, and it was during her stint as a host on a local ABS-CBN show that she was discovered by a talent scout and offered modeling jobs in Manila.
Kurleto's acting career took off with her debut in the movie "Ngayong Nandito Ka" in 2003, alongside Kristine Hermosa, Jericho Rosales, and Onemig Bondoc. She has since appeared in numerous commercials, FHM Philippines, and local TV shows.
In 2004, Kurleto was crowned FHM Philippines "Sexiest Woman of the World" and graced the cover of FHM Philippines in April of that year. She went on to become a co-host on the longest-running noontime variety show "Eat Bulaga" and a mainstay on Sundays' comedy show "Daddy Di Do Du".
Kurleto left "Eat Bulaga" in November 2007, with her co-hosts supporting her decision. Throughout her career, she has proven herself to be a talented and versatile individual, excelling in various fields and captivating audiences with her charm and charisma.
