Cindy Myskiw, a multifaceted Canadian talent, has made a mark in the entertainment industry as an actor, producer, director, and writer. Her impressive credits include two speaking roles in Hallmark Movies, as well as her involvement in the co-creation, direction, production, and co-hosting of the talk show "Big Talk" which aired on Shaw Spotlight TV.
Cindy's directorial debut, the film "A Prairie Christmas", showcased her versatility as she wrote, directed, and acted in the project. Her work on the award-winning television series Millworth earned her the role of Mrs. Karen Grimsley, and she also directed and produced several episodes, overseeing the hiring and placement of background actors in eight episodes.
Her impressive résumé includes producing and acting in "Rage Can Kill", which won one of the eight MB ACTRA MIP Grants. Born Cindy Rose Durocher, she is the daughter of Rene and Jane Durocher, and one of seven siblings. Her childhood, marked by her parents' divorce when she was a teenager, has had a profound impact on her life, shaping her into the person she is today.
Cindy has been married to her husband for 38 years, and they have four children, two biological and two adopted. Her journey in acting began in 2004/5 with a community theatre group, where she discovered her passion for the craft and began to pursue it professionally.
