Claire Margaret Corlett, also known as Claire Brown, is a talented Canadian-born actress from Vancouver, British Columbia, with a remarkable career in voice roles for animation. Her journey began in 2004, when she was just five years old, recording her first demo. This early start laid the foundation for her future success.
Corlett's first notable role in animation was voicing Sally Brown in the "Peanuts Motion Comics" series, which consisted of 20 short film adaptations of the beloved comic strip "Peanuts" (1950-2000). She was only seven years old when she took on this role.
Next, Corlett voiced Tiny Pteranodon in the popular animated series "Dinosaur Train," which aired from 2009 to 2020. Her versatility as a voice actress was further showcased when she voiced Dizzy, the tilting drum cement mixer, in the American dub of the British-Canadian co-production "Bob the Builder" (2015-2018). This series was a reboot of the original "Bob the Builder" series, which aired from 1999 to 2011.
On the big screen, Corlett made her debut performance as Frank in Hallmark's "Smart Cookies" at the age of thirteen. This early exposure to the entertainment industry sparked her passion for TV and film, and she has since pursued a career beyond animation.
In her personal life, Claire started dating fellow voice actor Gabriel Christian Brown in 2020. The couple moved in together in Arizona and announced their engagement on January 29, 2022. They tied the knot in November of the same year.
Despite her busy schedule, Corlett has continued to work on new roles in animation, earning a dedicated fan following for her well-received older roles. When not behind the mic, she works as a video editor for popular YouTube channels, including "Black Gryph0n," which boasts over 5 million subscribers, and the "Riggle's Picks" podcast. Corlett also serves as an executive producer.
