Clarisa Navas, a highly accomplished Argentine director and screenwriter, was born on October 10, 1989, in the picturesque city of Corrientes, Argentina, a place that would later influence her creative endeavors. With a deep passion for the audiovisual arts, she enrolled in the prestigious National University of the Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires, where she distinguished herself and earned a degree in Audiovisual Arts, solidifying her foundation in the field.
Navas' professional journey began as a production manager for the mini-series "La riña" in 2013, providing her with invaluable experience and insight into the industry. Drawing from her own life experiences, having grown up in a marginalized neighborhood in Argentina, Navas created her feature film debut, "Hoy partido a las 3", in 2017, which she also wrote, showcasing her distinctive perspective and storytelling abilities.
Beyond her achievements as a filmmaker, Clarisa Navas is also a dedicated educator, sharing her expertise and knowledge with students at the esteemed ENERC film school and the National University of the Northeast (UNNE),passing on her skills and experience to the next generation of filmmakers.
