Clayton Norcross was born on September 8, 1954, at Edwards Air Force Base, and spent his childhood in Arcadia, California. He pursued higher education at San Diego State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications and Film Production.
Norcross's acting career took off with his breakout role as Thorne Forrester on the popular soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, in 1987. This marked the beginning of his four contract roles on television, with the other three being Milagros in 2000, The Mystery Woman in 2017, and a role in the Italian sketch comedy, A Place in the Heart.
In addition to his television work, Norcross has also had a strong presence on the stage. He has performed in productions such as "Agency" at The Coast Playhouse and "Los Angeles Stories" at The Victory Theatre.
The Bold and the Beautiful, which catapulted Norcross to international fame, was syndicated in over 100 countries worldwide, making him a household name.
Norcross divides his time between Hollywood and Europe, working in film, television, and theatre. His recent television credits include the CBS primetime series, Hawaii Five-0, Omicidio su misura, and the British action miniseries, Air Force One Is Down, in which he co-starred with Linda Hamilton and Jeremy Sisto.
For the past few years, Norcross has been shopping his self-penned screenplay, Brutal Angels. When not in front of the camera, he dedicates his time to volunteering at environmental organizations, including Heal the Bay, World Wildlife Fund, and California League of Conservation Voters.
