Biography

Cody Lance Lambert, a renowned American former professional rodeo cowboy, was born on December 2, 1961. Notably, he concentrated his skills in two distinct rodeo disciplines: saddle bronc riding and bull riding. Moreover, Lambert played a pivotal role in the establishment and served as the vice president of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR),a prominent organization in the world of professional rodeo.

Tragedy struck in 1989 when Lambert's close friend, Lane Frost, lost his life at the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on July 30. This devastating event prompted Lambert to develop the protective vest that has since become mandatory attire for professional bull riders, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Fast-forward to 2022, Lambert took on the role of head coach for the Texas Rattlers during the PBR Team Series season. Under his guidance, the team achieved remarkable success, culminating in their championship title in 2023. Furthermore, in the same year, Lambert secured a notable ranking of No. 19 on the list of the top 30 bull riders in PBR history, a testament to his enduring impact on the sport.
