Cody Longo was a multifaceted American individual, possessing both artistic and intellectual talents. His professional journey commenced on the stage, before transitioning to the city of angels, Los Angeles, to pursue a career in film and television. Prior to embarking on his acting and music endeavors, Cody had the opportunity to study psychology and film at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Throughout his career, Cody had a wide range of film and television roles since his professional debut in 2009. Moreover, he was a skilled singer-songwriter who managed to break into the Billboard Top 100 charts in 2014 with his song "She Said", which remarkably charted at number three, alongside his debut album. Additionally, Cody worked as a music supervisor and executive producer on various film and television projects.
Beyond his creative pursuits, Cody was deeply committed to philanthropic endeavors. He actively supported and advocated for the preservation of art programs in schools domestically, as well as contributed to the development of housing projects that provided educational opportunities for children worldwide. He was the founder and leader of his own non-profit organization, LiveAlive, and was also heavily involved with the Make a Wish foundation and Pencils of Promise.
In the latter stages of his life, Cody relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to focus on his music. He co-founded and served as the chief music executive officer of Circle 11 Entertainment, a company dedicated to nurturing and developing emerging talent. Tragically, Cody's life was cut short, and he was poised to return to acting in 2023 before his untimely passing.
