Colby Daniel Lopez, better known by his ring name Seth Rollins, is a highly accomplished American professional wrestler and actor currently signed to WWE. Prior to his WWE tenure, Lopez wrestled under the name Tyler Black for Ring of Honor (ROH),where he held the prestigious ROH World Championship once and the ROH World Tag Team Championship twice, alongside Jimmy Jacobs. Additionally, he was the winner of the 2009 Survival of the Fittest tournament. Lopez also gained experience in various independent promotions, including Full Impact Pro (FIP),where he became a one-time FIP World Heavyweight Champion, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG),where he was a one-time PWG World Tag Team Champion, again alongside Jacobs.
In 2010, Lopez signed with WWE and was sent to its developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW),where he achieved the impressive feat of becoming the first FCW Grand Slam Champion. Following WWE's rebranding of FCW into NXT, he became the inaugural NXT Champion. Rollins made his debut on WWE's main roster in 2012, alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, as part of the group The Shield. During his time with The Shield, Rollins won his first main roster championship, the WWE Tag Team Championship, alongside Reigns.
After The Shield's initial breakup in June 2014, Rollins went on to achieve numerous accolades, including becoming a two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, a one-time United States Champion, a three-time WWE/Raw Tag Team Champion, the 2014 Money in the Bank winner, and the 2015 Superstar of the Year. Upon winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34, Rollins became the twenty-ninth Triple Crown Champion and the eighteenth Grand Slam Champion.
Throughout his career, Rollins has headlined numerous major pay-per-view events for WWE, including WrestleMania 31. Industry veteran Sting, who wrestled his final match against Rollins at Night of Champions on September 20, 2015, has described him as the most talented professional wrestler he has ever seen or worked with.
