Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Colby Strong's passion for performance was evident from an early age, leading him to embark on an acting journey with local theater companies in 2007. By 2011, he had secured film representation, marking the beginning of a dynamic and promising career.
Colby's academic background is impressive, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, which he earned in 2016. Following his graduation, he made his film debut as Wally in Deidra & Laney Rob a Train in 2017, which premiered in the NEXT category at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
In October 2017, Colby took a bold step, relocating to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. His dedication and perseverance paid off quickly, as within just nine months, he landed his first series regular role as Blaze on Hasbro's Power Rangers Beast Morphers on Nickelodeon, debuting in the summer of 2018.
Colby's recent standout performances include Cory in Mindy Kaling's hit HBO Max comedy, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Rory in The Prank, an independent film starring the legendary Rita Moreno. Most recently, Colby starred in Homestead, a film and series released in 2024, which has grossed over $20 million in sales, solidifying his status as a talented and versatile actor.
