Collin Place, a remarkable individual, was born in Salina, Kansas in 1997, and shortly after his birth, he embarked on a new chapter in his life with his mother, father, and brother, relocating to Edmond, Oklahoma, where he spent his formative years. His parents, Randy and Sandy Place, have always been incredibly supportive of their two sons, encouraging them to pursue their passions, whether it be acting, sports, singing, drumming, or any other creative outlet.
Collin's older brother, Austin Place, is a talented individual who has a deep love for soccer and currently attends the University at Buffalo in New York, where he is a member of the soccer team, playing the position of center defender.
Collin's interest in acting was sparked when he was just eleven years old. Michelle De Long, a renowned casting director and acting teacher, took him under her wing and introduced him to ACTS Acting Academy. Since then, Collin has been an active member of the academy, attending numerous auditions, classes, and workshops.
In 2012, Collin landed his first significant lead role in the indie movie The Posthuman Project (2014),which marked a major milestone in his acting career. Just a few months after the filming of The Posthuman Project was completed in 2013, Collin secured his second lead role in the movie Saving Sloane (2021).
In addition to his film work, Collin has also appeared in various commercials, videos for LifeChurch.tv, and other film projects for local businesses in Oklahoma. At his high school, Edmond Santa Fe, Collin is an accomplished student, involved in numerous activities, including Student Council, National Honor Society, a Graphic/Video design class, a Competitive Drama class, and the varsity soccer team.
When he's not honing his acting skills or pursuing his academic interests, Collin enjoys acting, playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and creating internet videos. He is passionate about his craft and hopes to make a career out of his acting abilities.
