Connor McLellan is a pioneering and enterprising Canadian writer, director, and producer who has been making a significant impact in the industry since his graduation from the prestigious Film & Television program at George Brown College. Upon entering the program, Connor initially aimed to refine his skills in writing and editing, however, his hands-on experience during his time in film school led to a more holistic understanding of the craft. Connor's creative abilities were showcased in his work on a musical short film, "Lullabies," which he wrote and directed, as well as the college's VFX Capstone short, "UnSubscribed," for which he was selected to take the lead.
Connor and his fellow graduates encountered a myriad of obstacles in securing employment following their April 2020 graduation, a direct consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic's far-reaching impact on the global economy.
Undeterred by these challenges, they chose to take proactive measures, pooling their collective talents and resources to create opportunities for themselves.
