Person Biography:
Conrad Bachmann is a veteran actor with over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his career in the 1960s with appearances in TV series such as "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis". Since then, he has accumulated hundreds of credits, including over 400 commercials, 20 feature films, and numerous stage productions.
Bachmann has played a wide range of roles, from Jim - The Doctor in "Tremors" to the Secretary of Defense Wyatt in "Rules of Engagement" alongside Tommy Lee Jones, Ben Kingsley, and Samuel L. Jackson. He has also doubled and performed stunt work for Bing Crosby in the remake of "Stagecoach".
In addition to his acting career, Bachmann has also been involved in the production side of the industry. He co-starred with Alan Alda in "Kill Me If You Can" for Columbia Studios and has remained full-time in the entertainment business since his return.
Bachmann has served in various capacities within the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, including Governor of the Performers Peer Group and Executive committee member. He has also chaired the Hall of Fame for the Academy and has been re-elected for a two-year term.
In his personal life, Bachmann has been married to Kate for 40 years and has four children, including a daughter and three sons. He is also a proud grandfather of three and has been honored as an Honorable Kentucky Colonel.
