Crescentia's earliest years were spent in the picturesque city of San Mateo, California, a place that would later hold a special significance in her life. However, it was during her formative years in Washington State that her innate passion for dance began to take shape. Under the tutelage of the esteemed Joy Ozier at Dancing for Joy, Crescentia devoted herself to a rigorous five-year program of tap, ballet, and jazz classes, honing her skills and nurturing her artistic expression. Meanwhile, her mother, Beverly Gorman, played a pivotal role in fostering Crescentia's interest in the creative aspects of dance, meticulously crafting recital costumes for her daughter and her sisters, instilling in them a sense of pride and self-expression.
As a result of her parents' divorce, Crescentia was relocated to the Imperial Valley in California, where she resided with her mother and sisters. Subsequently, the family made another move to Redlands, California, which became the backdrop for Crescentia's middle school years. Following the completion of her middle school education, Crescentia relocated once again, this time to Clintonville, Wisconsin, where she ultimately graduated from high school. Notably, during her time at high school, Crescentia achieved academic distinction, earning a letter and numerous medals for her outstanding performance on the school's forensics team.
Crescentia's academic journey took her to the esteemed Mt. Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she embarked on a rigorous course of study in the field of fashion design. This formative experience laid the foundation for her future endeavors in the world of fashion.
Following her academic pursuits, Crescentia seized the opportunity to further develop her skills through an internship at Contemporary Designs in Tacoma, Washington. During this pivotal period, she honed her expertise in garment construction and millinery, allowing her to refine her craft and prepare herself for the demands of a career in the fashion industry.
Upon completing her internship, Crescentia made the decision to relocate to Dubuque, Iowa, marking a significant turning point in her personal and professional life.
Crescentia's academic journey commenced in 2007 when she successfully completed her degree in Video and Motion Graphics from the esteemed Madison Media Institute.
Following her graduation, she made a brief foray into the world beyond Dubuque's borders, relocating to York, Pennsylvania.
However, her stay in York was short-lived, as she eventually returned to her hometown of Dubuque, where she became deeply involved with the Great River Film Initiative, a dynamic organization dedicated to fostering local filmmaking talent.
As a valued member of the Great River Film Initiative, Crescentia has played a pivotal role in the production of numerous short films and projects, including the critically acclaimed feature film Easton's Article, which premiered in 2010.
Crescentia's captivating stage presence was prominently featured in the 2011 theatrical production of Recent Tragic Events, where she masterfully brought to life the complex and multifaceted characters of Joyce and Nancy, showcasing her impressive range and versatility as a performer.
In addition to her work on stage, Crescentia has also utilized her creative talents to contribute to the eerie and immersive experience of the haunted attraction Dark Chambers in Dubuque, where she played a crucial role in the design, decoration, and acting aspects of the event.
Crescentia's entrepreneurial endeavors commenced in 2011, marking the official launch of Gotta Give 'Em Props, a prop rental house catering to the needs of film and stage productions in the Dubuque area.
As the years have unfolded, Crescentia has transitioned into a fulfilling role as a devoted wife and mother of three stunning children, her family bringing her immense joy and pride.
