Crispin Daniel Bonham-Carter is a renowned English actor and theatre director, whose impressive career has spanned multiple mediums and decades.
In the mid-1990s, Bonham-Carter made his mark on British television, playing the role of Mr. Bingley in the BBC's iconic adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice in 1995. The previous year, he had already gained recognition for his starring role in the TV sitcom Honey for Tea.
Bonham-Carter's notable performances also include his appearance in the 1993 BBC period drama Scarlet and Black, where he starred alongside Ewan McGregor and Rachel Weisz.

Born to Peter Bonham-Carter and Clodagh Greenwood, Crispin is the grandson of Sir Christopher Douglas Bonham-Carter. He is also a third cousin of the renowned actress Helena Bonham Carter and her brother, businessman Edward. Bonham-Carter is married to Katherine Julian Dawnay and they have four sons: Arthur Thomas Patrick, Christopher Ruan, Stanley Peter, and Frank Douglas.
Throughout his life, Bonham-Carter has been driven by a passion for learning, which was evident in his academic achievements. He was educated at Glenalmond College and graduated in 1992 from the University of St Andrews with a degree in classics. In 2011, he even represented his alma mater in a special series of University Challenge, where the St Andrews team unfortunately lost to a team from Cambridge in the first round.
