Cristina Spruell's formative years were spent on the picturesque Santa Catalina Island, where she resided in the quaint town of Avalon. Her early passion for performing was nurtured through her involvement with Sean Brannock's children's theater company, Kids at Play, on the island. Following her graduation from Avalon K-12 School, she made the bold decision to leave the island and pursue a degree in theatre from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley, commencing her academic journey the very next day.
After completing her degree, Cristina transitioned to television and film, where she has since made notable appearances in a range of productions. Her credits include HBO's critically acclaimed miniseries 'Sharp Objects,' ABC's heartwarming comedy 'Speechless,' and the comedic film 'Mr. Student Body President.'
In June 2021, Cristina's outstanding talent was recognized with the prestigious Best Actress award at the Romford Film Festival in the UK, for her role in the film 'Queen Luck,' which she also had the privilege of producing. Her most recent feature, 'About him & her,' is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime and is also featured on every American Airlines flight.
In addition to her work in the theatrical world, Cristina has also appeared in nearly twenty national commercials for prominent brands such as Dish Network, Snickers, Lowe's, Samsung, Subaru, and most recently, she has taken on the role of Sadie in Verizon Wireless' myplan commercials.
