Christopher Cianci, better known by his stage name Crystal Envy, is a talented American drag performer born on February 8, 1997. Growing up in Staten Island, New York, he relocated to New Jersey at the age of seven and spent his formative years in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Crystal Envy's passion for makeup began at the tender age of 14, and it wasn't long before he met his "drag mother" Jade Embers on Tumblr in 2011. He started performing as Crystal Envy Embers during his high school years, but eventually stopped at the age of 18.
However, Crystal Envy's love for drag never truly faded, and he resumed his performances in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, he is a full-time bridal and celebrity makeup artist, owning his own business and having worked with notable clients such as Dolores Catania.
Crystal Envy is not only a talented makeup artist but also a competitive drag performer. He has competed in various pageants, including Miss Paradise 2022, where he was crowned the winner. This achievement makes him the third Miss Paradise to compete on RuPaul's Drag Race, following in the footsteps of Honey Davenport and Olivia Lux.
Before winning the Miss Paradise pageant, Crystal Envy had already competed in the Miss Glamorous Newcomer pageant in Orlando, Florida. He is currently based in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and is a proud member of the House of Mandell, a drag house with a rich history and tradition.
Crystal Envy's connections within the drag community are strong, and he considers season 14 alumna Jasmine Kennedie to be his "drag sister." They are both members of the House of Mandell and have been mentored by "house mother" Mancie Mandell, who is also one of Crystal Envy's drag mentors.
