Born in Miami, Florida, Dahlia graduated from New World School of the Arts and later attended the prestigious Oxford School of Drama in England, where she had the opportunity to study under the guidance of renowned directors and actors.
As an actress, Dahlia has had the privilege of performing on some of the world's most esteemed stages, including the National Theatre in London, where she starred in a production of Twelfth Night, and the John Anson Ford Theatre in Los Angeles, where she appeared in a production of Much Ado About Nothing.
Dahlia's television career has been marked by a number of notable roles, including her starring turn as a series regular on the CBS drama series Four Corners, and her recurring appearances on Felicity and True Blood. She has also had the opportunity to work with a number of high-profile actors and directors, including Burt Reynolds, Forest Whitaker, and Ann-Margaret.
In addition to her work as an actress, Dahlia has also ventured into producing, with a number of credits to her name, including the passion project "Changing Hearts", which she secured financing for, co-produced, and also appeared in. She has also co-produced a number of other films, including "Swing", "Beneath the Darkness", and "9/11", and has executive produced "National Lampoon's Cattle Call" for Lions Gate Pictures.
Dahlia has also been involved in a number of documentaries, including "Blackfish", for which she served as a financing consultant, and "Newman" and "Hero With A Thousand Faces", which she produced. She is currently producing the feature film "Sweetwater", and is setting up a number of other projects, including "Big Finish" and "Gorgeous George".
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Dahlia is also a dedicated philanthropist, and is a founding member of the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts, along with Jimmy Smits, Sonia Braga, and Esai Morales. She is also a member of the PGA and SAG-AFTRA.
In her personal life, Dahlia is married to Martin Guigui, with whom she has three children.
