Biography

Dale Pollock, a renowned journalist and critic, was born in the culturally rich city of Cleveland, Ohio, where he was destined to excel academically. He graduated at the very top of his class from Brandeis University, a testament to his intellectual prowess. Pollock's thirst for knowledge only grew stronger, and he went on to earn a master's degree in communications from San Jose State University.

Noted journalist and writer, Pollock, expanded his professional repertoire by authoring a highly acclaimed biography, "Skywalking", which meticulously chronicled the illustrious life and career of George Lucas, the renowned filmmaker.

This impressive literary achievement, which garnered critical acclaim, opened up new avenues of opportunity for Pollock, as he joined David Geffen's company in 1985 as a development executive.

A year later, Pollock took on a new challenge, joining A&M Films, where he was subsequently appointed president in 1990.
