Dalton Harrod is a multifaceted individual with a strong presence in the entertainment industry, having garnered recognition for his roles in notable productions such as NOS4A2, Second Act, The Miseducation Of Cameron Post, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
Born at Frank Sinatra Hospital in Palm Springs, California, Dalton was raised in a family deeply rooted in the performing arts, with his parents, Chris and Cyndi, and brothers, Kellan and Ronn, all being actors. His early life was marked by extensive travel across the country, eventually settling in Oklahoma for a decade.
During his childhood, Dalton's interests lay in both sports and dance. He was an avid baseball and football player, and his enthusiasm for these activities has persisted to this day, as he remains a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and the Oklahoma Sooners. However, it was dance that truly ignited his passion, and he began tap dancing at the tender age of two, inspired by his idol, Gene Kelly, and later, Charlie Chaplin.
Dalton's grandmother, ChiChi, played a significant role in nurturing his love for dance, introducing him to classic Hollywood films and encouraging his development. He continued to hone his craft, training at the prestigious French Academie of Ballet, and went on to star as Young Junior in the New York City Center Encores production of On Your Toes.
Following his family's relocation to New York City, which he now calls home, Dalton attended LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts as a drama major. During his time there, he contributed to the creation of roles in A Christmas Story the musical and Finding Neverland the musical. One of his most cherished experiences is performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and he is grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside renowned directors such as Rob Ashford, Kathleen Marshall, and Warren Carlyle.
