Damon Lipari's life journey began in Patterson, Louisiana, where he spent his childhood with a burning passion for basketball. As a young boy, he idolized Pete Maravich, known for his exceptional ball-handling skills, and even wore strength shoes in an attempt to emulate the legendary Michael "Air" Jordan. However, his life took an unexpected turn at the age of 13, when he was captivated by the movie "A Few Good Men" and became fascinated with the world of acting.
As he grew older, Damon continued to pursue his love for basketball, playing for a small college in Mississippi before transferring to Louisiana State University (LSU),where he walked on to the basketball team. Although he was eventually told that there was no roster spot for him, he did not give up on his dream. In 2003, he even had a tryout with the Denver Nuggets, which went well, but ultimately, he did not make the team.
With his basketball aspirations behind him, Damon decided to dedicate himself to acting. He moved to Hollywood, quickly secured an agent, and began booking commercial work. Interestingly, his first film project was the CBS made-for-TV movie "Vampire Bats," which was filmed in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. The production was later relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia due to Hurricane Katrina.
After completing "Vampire Bats," Damon went on to appear in several films, including "The Guardian" alongside Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher, "Initiation of Sarah" with Mika Boorem, Summer Glau, and JoAnna Garcia Swisher, and "A Perfect Day" with Rob Lowe, Paget Brewster, and Christopher Lloyd. Following the completion of five consecutive film projects in his home state, Damon decided to return to his roots.
Throughout his career, Damon has appeared in numerous television shows and films, including "Memphis Beat," "Shark Night 3D," "Breakout Kings," "Halt and Catch Fire," "When the Game Stands Tall," "The Originals," and his latest project, "Navy Seals vs. Zombies." Damon's ultimate goal is to play the role of Pistol Pete in a biographical film about the legendary basketball player, and he also hopes to one day be endorsed by Nike and design his own shoes.
