Dan's early life was marked by his upbringing just outside of Manchester, which would later influence his artistic endeavors. He eventually relocated to London to attend The Arts Educational Schools, where he earned a prestigious 1st Class BA honors degree in Acting.
Throughout his decade-long career, Dan has consistently worked across various mediums, showcasing his versatility as a professional. His visual work spans an impressive range of projects, including theatre, TV, and film, while his voice work encompasses radio, commercials, audio drama, and TV commentary.
Dan's notable theatre credits include Gareth Farr's "Britannia Waves The Rules" at The Royal Exchange Manchester, for which he received a nomination for Best Actor at The Manchester Theatre Awards. He also appeared in Jim Cartwright's "Road" at The Royal Court, directed by John Tiffany, and Lyndsey Turner's "Hamlet" at The Barbican alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. Additionally, he had the honor of playing Romeo in Amy Leach's "Romeo and Juliet" at West Yorkshire Playhouse, which received widespread critical acclaim, including 5-star reviews.
On screen, Dan has worked extensively for the BBC, appearing in dramas such as "The Village," "The Musketeers," "Silent Witness," and "The Crimson Fields," where he shared the screen with the talented Suranne Jones. He also starred as Teddy Smith in the British independent films "The Rise of The Krays" and "The Fall of The Krays."
Dan's distinctive voice has been featured in various TV and radio advertisements, including the promotion of Tesco Club Card Plus, underscored by the legendary Cilla Black. He has also recently collaborated with Manchester United and Tezos on a social media campaign announcing their new partnership, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
