Daniel Alexander Tait is a seasoned professional touring musician, songwriter, music coach, actor, and MC with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He resides in West Kelowna, BC, with his partner and their furry companion, and frequently hosts events, performances, and takes his show on the road across Canada.
As an actor, Tait has an impressive list of credits, including the Lions Gate and Buzzfeed film "Puppy Love" (2023),Roguescots' thriller "The Founder Effect" (2023),as well as independent films "Pirates: Quest For Snake Island" (2008),"Dead of Winter" (2007),and "Prey For The Beast" (2006).
In addition to his acting work, Tait has also been involved in the creation of the documentary "The Making of Cariboo & Whiskey," which follows the making of his folk duo Tiger Moon's record "Cariboo & Whiskey." From 2019 to 2024, Tait wrote and performed with the Nashville-folk quartet Kentucky Eileen, releasing several singles and performing at numerous festivals across Canada, including Nest Fest, Mission Folk Festival, and Peace Valley Folk Festival. Prior to this, he was a member of the BC folk duo Tiger Moon from 2012 to 2019, releasing two EPs and a full-length record, and touring Canada annually and appearing at various festivals.
