Danai Gurira, a talented actress, was born in the charming town of Grinnell, Iowa, to Josephine and Roger Gurira, who hailed from the beautiful country of Zimbabwe. At the time of her birth, her father was serving as a chemistry professor at Grinnell College, a prestigious institution of higher learning.
