Danelle Eliav is a multifaceted artist who wears many hats as an actress, filmmaker, and producer. Born and raised in Canada, she has had the privilege of honing her craft with esteemed organizations such as Barefoot Theatre Company, The Public Theater, and Allentown Shakespeare.
Her extensive experience in the entertainment industry has led her to work closely with renowned talent like Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Shannon at the prestigious LAByrinth Theater Company.
As a producer, Danelle has made a significant impact in the film industry. Her feature film MENASHE, directed by Joshua Z Weinstein, premiered at both Sundance and Berlinale in 2017 and was distributed by A24. The film received numerous accolades, including nominations for an Independent Spirit Award and a Gotham Award, as well as winning the Jury Award at the Deauville Film Festival.
Danelle's producing credits also include Nathan Silver's film THE GREAT PRETENDER, which starred Esther Garrel and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018. Additionally, she has produced the films EMOTICON ;) and THE SHEIK, a documentary feature film about Iranian wrestling legend the Iron Sheik, featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
As a writer, Danelle has collaborated on MGM and Eko's interactive series #Wargames, a reboot of the 1983 film featuring Mathew Broderick.
Danelle's educational background is equally impressive, with classical training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and a graduate degree from Sanford Meisner's Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York. She is a founder of WIP - Women Independent Producers and a proud member of Barefoot Theatre Company and Lesser America.
