Biography

Daniel's journey in ballet began in 2005, when he initiated his rigorous training in Santa Barbara D'Oeste, under the expert tutelage of the renowned Ana Rita Da Silva.

Daniel's remarkable abilities in 2009 secured his position among the top twelve talented young dancers at the esteemed Youth America Grand Prix competition held in the bustling city of New York, a prestigious event that draws in exceptional performers from all around the globe. This remarkable achievement served as a catalyst, unlocking opportunities for him, as he was subsequently offered a full scholarship to participate in the summer program at the renowned Jacob's Pillow, a prestigious institution that has historically played a pivotal role in launching the careers of numerous successful dancers.

Daniel's extensive professional experience boasts a significant milestone in the form of a two-season guest dancing tenure with the esteemed Ballet BC, affording him the privilege of taking to the stage in a world premiere piece crafted by the renowned James Kudelka. His repertoire also comprises a diverse array of classical ballets, including the captivating Carmen and the timeless Peter Pan.

Furthermore, his impressive repertoire extends to include a wide range of variations from some of the most iconic and beloved ballets in the classical canon. These include the mesmerizing Flames of Paris, the enchanting Swan Lake, the elegant Raymonda, the dynamic Don Quixote, and the whimsical Coppélia.

Daniel has had the unique opportunity to perform the leading role of Florimund in the iconic ballet Sleeping Beauty, while also taking on the roles of Prince and Suitor in the enchanting production of Cinderella.

In Romeo & Juliet, Daniel brought to life the characters of Romeo and Mercutio, showcasing his impressive range and versatility as a dancer.

He has also had the privilege of dancing the roles of Siegfried, Pas de Trois, and Spanish Dancer in the timeless classic Swan Lake, as well as Dimitri in the beloved ballet Anastasia.

In addition, Daniel has performed the role of Lord Birch in The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition, a production that holds a special place in the hearts of audiences across the country.

But Daniel's talents don't stop at the stage. He has also starred in the short film The Marvelous Girl, which was produced by the Canadian Ballet Junior Company and made its debut at the prestigious 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

This project allowed Daniel to showcase his versatility and talent beyond the world of ballet, further cementing his status as a talented and multifaceted performer.
