Daniel James Pike is a talented Canadian screenwriter, filmmaker, and actor hailing from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Throughout his illustrious career, he has achieved remarkable success in various international screenwriting competitions, boasting an impressive track record of 13 placements, including a finalist spot in the 2022 Nashville Screenwriting Pitch Competition and a finalist position in the 2023 Canada Film Fest Screenwriting Pitch Competition.
Pike's impressive list of accolades also includes a fourth-place finish in the 2015 Canada Film Fest Screenwriting Competition and a quarterfinalist position in the prestigious Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting Competition in 2012.
In addition to his writing accomplishments, Pike has also made a name for himself in the world of filmmaking, with his first short film, The Acrylic (2019),being officially selected in 12 international film festivals, including the esteemed Blood in the Snow festival in Toronto in 2019.
