Daniel O'Neill, a British-born Martial Arts Action Actor, has made a significant impact in the industry with his versatility and skill. Born in the UK, Daniel's fascination with Hong Kong action movies as a child led him to admire and emulate the legendary Jackie Chan. This admiration sparked a passion for Martial Arts, and at the age of 14, Daniel began training in Taekwondo and Acrobatics, pushing himself to the limit with intense training sessions that would last for hours every day.
As he honed his skills, Daniel earned the nickname "Super Kicker" and went on to win numerous competitions, including the British championships. Despite his success in the UK, Daniel felt an insatiable hunger to express his art, which led him to leave for Hong Kong on his 19th birthday with only a few hundred pounds to his name.
In Hong Kong, Daniel started auditioning for action movies and began working with renowned stunt men, allowing him to develop his unique style by incorporating Taekwondo with Western Boxing, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Free Running, Fight Choreography, Stunts falls, and Break Dancing. Daniel's talent and dedication soon made him a sought-after actor, and he worked alongside some of Hong Kong's finest, including Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, and Sammo Hung.
In 2002, Daniel received a live audition for the movie "Twins Effect," where he impressed Donnie Yen and landed a one-on-one fight scene with Jackie Chan, a dream come true. Daniel's success in Hong Kong also led to modeling jobs and commercials, showcasing his versatility and good looks. Recognizing his potential, Daniel branched out into Acting, relocating to Bangkok, a city that loves action movies.
In Bangkok, Daniel continued to develop his unique fighting style and worked as a Model, Actor, Stuntman, and Dancer. He eventually received a call to cast for the action movie "Bangkok Adrenaline," making him the first "white guy" to play the lead role in Asian action movie history. Daniel's performance in the film truly showcased his art, both in front of and behind the camera, cementing his place in the Martial Arts action movie industry internationally.
